I am looking for a piece of history. This shop floor photo is not very clear. I´d like to have some better view of this kind of rear suspension. Tim Ahlborn said it was page and page suspension popular in 1950´s and 1960´s. Tried google but no luck. Does someone have a pic or scheme or whatever, please? Thanks, Jarda

Try Googling "GMC Crackerbox sales brochres"... I found them after some searching, and they show a pretty nice shot of that Page & Page layout...

G,day , i went to a vintage truck show today and there was an old kenworth w model with this rear end in it . This is the main beam , Next is the front diff spring , the front hanger is bolted to the chassis and the rear of that spring goes into the front of the beam . The next photo is of the pivot part in the middle of the beam which is bolted to the chassis and which also bolts the front hanger for the front of the rear spring to slid into and the rear of the back spring goes into a hanger thats bolted to the chassis . Sound complicated but very simple when it's in front of you , hope this helps mate . Oh , and here's the big truck its on .
